For trade businesses

Reliable labour for the days you actually need it.

Post the job, see which subcontractors are free and find a good fit for your dates, trade and site.

Joining the list does not create an account. We’ll let you know when SubHub is ready in Perth.

Example subcontractor

Flooring installer, hybrid and laminate

Strong match 90/100

Free on both days the job needs, lists flooring as their main trade and hybrid flooring as a specialisation, works about 12 km from the job (inside the area they travel to) and the job pays at least their day rate.

Made for the way trade work changes

Fill a gap in the roster with the right person.

SubHub keeps job details, availability, matching and messages together so you can make a clear decision before a booking is confirmed.

  • Search for the days you need

Choose a trade and a date range. Subcontractors who have marked themselves available for those dates come first.

  • Post a job with the details upfront

Add the scope, suburb, dates, pay type, experience and credential requirements, plus photos or attachments where useful.

  • Understand every match

Suggestions include a score out of 100 and a plain explanation of why they match. You can use your own judgement over the ranking.

  • Agree, then confirm the booking

Discuss the details in the job thread and offer a booking. It is confirmed when the subcontractor accepts.

  • Read a track record

Profiles show completed jobs and reviews from other businesses, alongside clearly labelled supplied or verified credentials.

  • Keep your site address private

People see the job suburb and postcode while you are deciding. The exact address is shared only after a booking is confirmed.

From job post to confirmed booking

Keep the whole process in one place.

  1. 01

    Describe the job

Choose the trade, add the dates and suburb, then outline the scope, rate and requirements so applicants know what the work involves.

  2. 02

    Find people who are free

Search by trade and date or review suggested matches. Availability and the reasons behind each suggestion are shown together.

  3. 03

    Agree the details and book

Invite a subcontractor or review applications, settle the details in messages, then send a booking offer for them to confirm.

Matching with reasons

See the working, not just the score.

SubHub scores matches using seven published rules. The business view also shows listed inductions and tickets as a separate check; they do not add to the score.

  • 1Trade and specialisation
  • 2Availability for the job dates
  • 3Distance from the job
  • 4Relevant experience
  • 5Rate fit
  • 6Credential status
  • 7Track record and reviews
  • 8Inductions and tickets

Keep the exact site address to yourself until the booking is confirmed.

Before a booking, a subcontractor sees the suburb and postcode so they can judge the job and travel. You decide when to share the exact address, and it is only shown after you confirm the booking together.

Rates and payment terms are agreed directly between the business and subcontractor. SubHub does not process or hold payments between them.
